The Solution

Twelve years--that is how long I have been seeking a way to grow aspen and other trees where I live.  Tree Protectors are only certain (with some very minor caveats) to be effective with taller, established trees.  This is kind of makeshift--not a finished product, but this is the solution.  This is the solution.

Rose Garden (with aspen)

What do I do on a daily basis these days?  I trim the aspen, basically removing the lower branches and very small trees.  They are growing very fast--maybe a few inches every couple of days each.  It is really amazing.
